I am an LMSW providing both individual and family therapy. I work primarily with preschool-aged and school aged children, teens, and families. My style is warm and caring, beginning with developing an authentic relationship from our very first conversation. I hold a comforting space that feels nurturing while also holding you accountable. This is the place to be vulnerable, honest, and truly yourself. Let’s be real, no one has everything figured out.
My goal is for my clients to learn new strategies and skills that will allow them to become the best version of themselves, which will allow them to lead happier and more fulfilled lives. It is not always easy asking for help, so I applaud you for taking the first step. You might have identified goals or things you want to address, or might not know where to begin, either way I am here to begin the journey with you.
I’m an LCSW providing individual and family therapy. I specialize in play therapy, grief therapy, anxiety, and attachment theory. Play is the natural way for children to communicate, which makes it a great fit for young children in therapy. I also often work with older children, teens, and young adults. My therapeutic approach is collaborative and tailored to the individual and family that I am working with.
When working with children and teens, I recognize the importance of including the caregiver in the therapeutic process. I use an empathetic and compassionate approach to create a space for your child or teen to express their thoughts and feelings, while also learning skills and strategies to use outside of therapy.
I understand how challenging it can be to reach out for support for you or your child, and I am here to support you throughout this process. I’m looking forward to meeting you and helping you and your child meet your goals!
As a therapist, I am warm, creative, and collaborative, using the therapy room as a safe practice space that ultimately encourages outside confidence and connection. I have extensive experience working with young people with neurodivergences, disabilities, and/or anxiety disorder, including diagnoses of autism, ADHD, OCD, and intellectual and developmental disabilities. I also often work with LGBTQ young people, kids with high expectations of themselves, kids who have experienced bullying, and the children or siblings of neurodivergent or disabled people.
Accepting your whole self—believing that you can make mistakes and be worthy, feel overwhelmed and be brave, or be different and belong— can feel impossible for a young person today. Together, we can acknowledge scary uncertainties, build grounded self-trust, and practice new skills to adapt and thrive.
